James Budny is President of the 1,800-member medical-dental staff of Kaleida Health. A neurosurgeon at Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital, Budny is also Clinical Associate Professor of Neurosurgery and Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University at Buffalo. His clinical interests are cerebrovascular, neuroendocrine and CT-guided stereotactic neurosurgery. After earning his medical degree, he completed his residency training in neurosurgery at the University at Buffalo. Budny, who is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, obtained his fellowship training in neurovascular surgery at the University of Western Ontario. He recently returned from active duty in Iraq.
