Sharon Hanson is Manager of Public and Government Affairs at Time Warner Cable Inc. and host of the public access television show, Time Warner Today. In May 2008, she was honored with the Chairman's Distinguished Service Award by the Lifeline Foundation at ECMC for her passion and dedication to the hospital. A member of the ECMC Corporation Board of Directors for more than 12 years, Hanson currently serves as Chair. In 2008, she was a finalist for the prestigious Athena Award, in recognition of her professional experience, dedication, community service and support for the goals of professional women in the Buffalo Niagara region. Before joining Time Warner, Hanson was Business Development Specialist for the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority. She earned her bachelor's degree in English and political science from Canisius College, and is a resident of Williamsville.
